Coding Club

Dates: 16 January - 27 March (no class 13th Feb)

Time: Tuesday afternoons, 16.15 - 17.15

Number: 10 classes

The club will focus on introducing the girls to programming concepts in JavaScript and other languages. These concepts are key in many disciplines, including Maths, Science, Engineering, and Computing.

Turinglab provides a library of projects ‒ games, puzzles, and animations ‒ along with step by step instructions and open-ended challenges, so that students can learn at their own pace in a fun and engaging way.

The sessions will be led by Turinglab's expert instructors, who will direct students towards projects they’ll get the most out of, and help them get to grips with new concepts.

Girls who have attended the club in previous terms will be able to continue where they left of, and progress on to more advanced projects that continue to stretch and challenge them.

Sometimes the club is cancelled for reasons beyond our control (for example problems with the school's internet). In those cases we will issue a refund for that session where possible.
